Welcome to the redesigned website!!! I've spent quite some time freshening up the appearance with some CSS and JQuery, learning plenty and hopefully the results are decent! Please let me have your feedback on the new format and let me know of any glitches! It should work ok with IE8 or greater, Firefox, Chrome + Safari - if not let me know!

NEW - MAY 2011 & APRIL 2012! Chris has been to America birding twice and took the camera! Chris' American Bird Photography Site Check out the US version of the site and see the expanding portfolio of photos. There will be over 300 species to browse once I've processed all the pictures. You can enjoy my fathers and my memories of two great trips; one to Magee Marsh in Ohio and the other to Texas! There are currently over 1300 photos and we're hoping to head back to the US again in the future.

Chris is a keen birdwatcher (not yet officially a twitcher!!) and has enjoys the challenge of digital photography. Naturally, the two interests were going to combine at some stage so on these pages are some of the bird photographs Chris has managed to take. The images vary in quality from excellent down to record shots but hopefully they can aid some birders with their bird identification.

I hope you enjoy browsing the bird pics. I only have links to the species I've been lucky enough to photograph in the wild. The exhaustive list of species might look impressive but I think it's a touch ambitious with life as it is but we can all dream for more free time!!
